DeWayne Watson
Head Pastor
DeWayne & Michelle Watson met in college in 1990 and were married in 1994. Pastor D has never felt called to anything other than pastoring and leading leaders. He has a deep love of the Bible and very much enjoys making it approachable, understandable and enjoyable for anyone he might encounter.
Michelle is the daughter of missionaries and spent most of her pre-adult life in the East African countries of Malawi, Kenya and Tanzania. She loves people and is passionate about helping and leading women to find themselves in Christ and live lives that honor God, their families and themselves.
Pastor D has led and served ministries in Florida, Texas, North Carolina and has now, with his family, followed Jesus to the Coast to lead Coast Life Church. His vision for this area and beyond is deep and wide, and it absolutely includes you and your family. Michelle and DeWayne understand the highs and lows that we all experience in our family lives. They have three adult children, Kailey, Darien and Micah all of whom are a great joy, and just like yours, at times are quite challenging. All three are engaged in some form of ministry leadership.
