God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.
What Is Tithe?
A tithe means tenth, so to give a tithe means to bring God the first 10% of the increase He has given us. The church uses tithes to fund the mission and vision of the church, which includes supporting ongoing ministry at Coast Life Church, caring for our people, helping our people grow spiritually, as well as, engaging our cities, state, nation, and peoples of the world with the gospel.
What Is An Offering?
Offerings are also important to the church as they joyfully support immediate financial needs that accelerate the mission and vision of the church. Across scripture offerings are sacrificial because they are given above the tithe.
